When the cerebrospinal fluid leaks out of the dura mater, it causes the brains volume and pressure of the fluid to drop, in result, the cushioning effect is then reduced and the brain slumps. This will cause severe pains, pressure, blurred or double vision, eye pain, neck pain, hearing impairment, spasms and possible seizures, just to name a few.
